In February, we pressed pause on our Ambassador Program in order to reevaluate the ways in which we were selecting, maintaining, empowering, and directly supporting our Ambassadors. Ambassadors are an integral part of the success of Legends of Aria, and we want to ensure that we’re doing everything on our end to return that favor, and help them to succeed on their channels in return.
We will be adding more Ambassadors to our program moving forward, but to kick us off leading up to Steam launch, we’ve invited two streamers who have not only dedicated a significant amount of time to streaming Legends of Aria, but who are also regular, active, recognizable members of our community outside of their streams: Potty Mouth and Lou Cyphir!
I have been an avid gamer since the early 90s—learning how to hold a controller before I knew how to walk. I enjoy nearly all types of video games, but prefer PvP, first-person shooters, and MMOs. I am an ambassador for Legends of Aria and an active Twitch Affiliate. Previously, I served as an MLG Online referee for Call of Duty and Halo and was a sponsored competitive Halo 2 player.
I was initially drawn to Legends of Aria because of the similarities to one of my favorites and first-ever online game experience: Ultima Online. I’ve got fond memories of PVPing as my halberd mage. You can find me on the U.S. East Server in Verdant Earth.
When not gaming, I’m sailing the seas as an active duty service member in the U.S. Coast Guard, watching Boston sports teams win championships, and drinking craft beer. Follow along for all my pirate shenanigans on instagram and twitter at @PottyMouthTTV.
From the depths of somewhere… ok, ok, my basement. Lou Cyphir is my name, LoA is my game (I crack myself up often). I’m an old married dude with a couple of kids; gaming is my escape…with the wife’s permission, of course. I started playing the game through another streamer and I’m very happy I tried it out. I come from other big name MMO’s and never played UO so I had no clue what this game was or what it was about. My favorite game of the past was Asheron’s Call and I have been constantly searching for something like it. I have tried close to 40 games, maybe more since AC, and then I stumbled across Legends of Aria.
You might laugh, but I’m a crafter at heart, I like PVE and PVP as well. In fact, the thing that got me hooked on Legends of Aria was getting killed on my crafter while gathering wood. The thrill of going out and gathering the higher end materials in the wilderness, knowing that I could get ganked and looted at any moment gave me that feeling from the old days playing older MMO’s.
On the stream, you will see an incredible community come together for some great times, night after night. Some of our shenanigans can range from treasure hunting to opening fishing chests and even some PVP. I can also be seen answering new player questions or talking about the last tutorial I have created. If you’re not afraid of having a good laugh and a good time, stop by anytime.
Who are Ambassadors?
Legends of Aria Ambassadors are streamers who have shown a dedication to Legends of Aria, both in their work and as active parts of the community. We don’t want to simply promote streamers who are spending a lot of time in the game. Rather, we want to promote players who are spending a lot of time in our community, who also happen to be creating content based around the game.
Members of the program can leave at any time, conversely, Citadel Studios can remove anyone from the program at any time. To remain part of the Ambassador Program, streamers must remain a consistent streamer of Legends of Aria.
What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?
Ambassador streams will be featured on the Community page of the Legends of Aria website, and upcoming streams will be included on our website calendar, marked as Ambassador content. Ambassador streams will also be shared across Legends of Aria social media accounts.
Ambassadors have a direct channel to the development team, access to promotional items and game codes for giveaways, an Ambassador role on Discord, and exclusive Legends of Aria Ambassador art for their channels.
There are additional perks to being an Ambassador. Depending on the number of hours streamed per month, members of the development team will join the Ambassador on stream, and the Ambassador will receive additional in-game items for giveaways.
How do I become an Ambassador?
The Ambassador Program is an invite-only program – however, the best way for us to find you in order to invite you is for us to know where to look! You can send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org with your information.
